The Lord has blessed you with talent to open your mouth!

So first off this is the last Pday in the MTC before I will leave for Germany! Crazy, how time has flown by. Not anything amazing happened. It was pretty much the same because the days are scheduled out for you and they are the same every day. Sunday was a fantastic day! I love Sundays. So the topic for this week was on obedience. So in the all-German Sacrament meeting guess who spoke? Yes, I spoke about obedience again but this time in German, BUT it was not the same talk.
Pday has been good, but there are so many missionaries.   I can’t wait to leave. There are 50 elders and there are 12 showers, so mornings are hard.  Email time is hard because the other zone doesn’t follow their schedule.
Sat by President Preston in the temple; great to feel of his spirit.  He shared his testimony about how he loves the temple before we left for the temple.  I Love the temple too! :) I am going to miss the temple so much... I’m so grateful for the temple in my life.
Tonight another member of the 70’s is coming.  So far we have had two70’s, so this is the third.   Today was the last time I was able to go to the temple. Next Tuesday night, we are having a testimony meeting, usually they go to the temple but because there are so many of us leaving it will be testimony meeting for 2 hours.
Our district had a little bit of a "coming unto Jesus" the other day. We all went around the room saying why we were on a mission. I felt the spirit so strong because most of them took it serious and allowed the spirit to be present.

I got your V-Day package on Friday it made me smile so much! I also loved the card which came on a great day because it was a good pick me up after a lesson that did not go as well as we had hoped.
I am ready to be out and doing something. I am a little sick of the four walls... Can't wait to figure if I will be staying in Germany, or if I will be going to Austria.
That is sad to hear about Maxine but I know she is now in a better place and with her loved ones that went before. I am so grateful to know the plan of Salvation.   Hug everyone in Utah and give my condolences.
During my study this morning, I was reading in Doctrine and Covenants section 60. It talked about how elders are to preach the gospel. In verse 2 it states how the Lord has blessed you with talent to open your mouth. I know that the Lord can help us become strong in what we do, if it is what he would have us do. All we need to do is put our trust and faith in the Lord.  I will all be alright no matter if there looks to be sunshine or rain because the sun will always come out and will make the darkest storm of life seem so distant.
Love you! Tell Lonna hello for me and that I think of her as I think where I will be serving because if it is Austria I will think of her for sure.

When the fog lifts, we see the Son!

Love my call to serve!

So we are not going to the temple today, so we will get those names done next week. I hope you have a splendid time in Utah learning more about family history. I honestly miss going to the family history center.

So today is PDAY! We went on a church history tour.  It was great; we went into Preston and walked around.

This week has been pretty normal, I feel like. The 2 weekers left and we get more tomorrow, but this time I will leave when they leave too!

So, here are some pictures from today’s outing. We went to Preston, walk around the city, and went out into the country side arch.
We saw several key places like where the missionaries first stated to preach in the square, where the first baptisms, and where President Hinckley lived as a missionary.

We also went to a small town smaller than Ririe.

The post office was closed, but it was like we stepped back in time. The streets were rock and they had rock walls along the road. It was fantastic to see the country side.

Crazy to think two weeks from now I will be in Munich, Germany! So many emotions are associated with that! We had another member of the 70 give a devotional last week.  It was the second one since I have been here and it was good. I gave the opening prayer in German!

Sunshine Seth has really decided that he misses the sun.  No sun the last few days/week, it has been cloudy, it makes me sad. Its great things are green, but miss the yellow and blue.
Sunday we did an all-German Sacrament meeting. So EVERYTHING was in German, even conducting and announcements. Sorry about the video not being able to see me when we sang. We were positioned right but the sister in front moved and it was not a battle worth fighting to make sure I could get seen.
Had interviews with the President and he said, “That out of my district, he thinks I am the one he knows least.”

It will be crazy to not see all these people at the MTC in a few weeks. Love you ALL! Hope everyone has an awesome week!

Only three more weeks, then off to Germany!

I honestly have the best comp here.  You can see the cracks in other companionships.  I am going to miss him.  Only three more weeks, then off to Germany!

I asked if we take the train or fly; our teacher said it is like1/5 the cost to fly.  It would take 20 hours to get there by train, but I would have enjoyed the train. I could go to London, Paris then over to Germany.  I will just have to enjoy the sky look of London, Paris, and Germany.

Oh, tell everyone back home hello for me. I am trying to eat healthy.   I don’t know if I have gained weight. I know others have because they go back for 3 helpings of seconds every day.

I do English during personal study, but usually read together as a class one chapter in German.   I try to take time during language study to read like in the other side of heaven.  I read one verse of the Book of Mormon in English and the same verse in German.  The language is coming, but slow.  I’ve been good at journaling, even if I feel like nothing big happened.

We teach every day, sometimes multiple times a day.  One lesson went amazing, I understood what was being said.   It was a good one.  I was on the plan of salvation.  I was taught by great parents about the plan of salvation.  I sure that is why it came so easy.

I took a picture to show that a double decker bus exists!

Its sunshine here for now, might change in 10 minutes.  A lot like Idaho.

It would be cool to see Sarah; I will keep a look out for her.  Tell her my class room is the one closest to the distribution center, but towards the parking lot.  I will listen for Sunshine, Seth!

It was funny, no one knew it was the super bowl on Sunday until President Preston said, "It was." He had to also tell us who was playing because nobody knew who.   One of our teachers told us who won because some elders wanted to know.  Sounds like a close game score.  Tell Scott I am so sad to hear about the Seahawks.

So, it was just standard week.   I have not gotten the package, but maybe tomorrow.  There is always tomorrow.  As the song goes, the sun will come out tomorrow.

So, on Sunday we had a testimony meeting.  I actually shared my testimony, and in German of all things!  It was short and sweet.

I prayed before we headed out to the temple this morning, and it was in German in front of everyone.   Anytime I pray I now, I try to pray in German.

Saw the Baptism font in the temple this morning it was very cool to see the different styles.

Going to ASDA again today I'm going to exchange some money into Euros today.

So, the new missionaries came, there is one from Iona going to London South. He flew from Salt Lake.    A sister from Vegas, that went to BYU-I.  She lived at the Willows. There is an Elder from Africa.  I am enjoying getting to know all the new elders and sisters.  I have friends now from all around the world.  Like that primary children's songs goes,
"We are children, holding hands across the world, like an army defending truth and right!"

President Preston (MTC President) talked with our district last night.  He encouraged us to not give up, but to keep pushing forward.

Love you with all my heart!
