Only three more weeks, then off to Germany!

I honestly have the best comp here.  You can see the cracks in other companionships.  I am going to miss him.  Only three more weeks, then off to Germany!

I asked if we take the train or fly; our teacher said it is like1/5 the cost to fly.  It would take 20 hours to get there by train, but I would have enjoyed the train. I could go to London, Paris then over to Germany.  I will just have to enjoy the sky look of London, Paris, and Germany.

Oh, tell everyone back home hello for me. I am trying to eat healthy.   I don’t know if I have gained weight. I know others have because they go back for 3 helpings of seconds every day.

I do English during personal study, but usually read together as a class one chapter in German.   I try to take time during language study to read like in the other side of heaven.  I read one verse of the Book of Mormon in English and the same verse in German.  The language is coming, but slow.  I’ve been good at journaling, even if I feel like nothing big happened.

We teach every day, sometimes multiple times a day.  One lesson went amazing, I understood what was being said.   It was a good one.  I was on the plan of salvation.  I was taught by great parents about the plan of salvation.  I sure that is why it came so easy.

I took a picture to show that a double decker bus exists!

Its sunshine here for now, might change in 10 minutes.  A lot like Idaho.

It would be cool to see Sarah; I will keep a look out for her.  Tell her my class room is the one closest to the distribution center, but towards the parking lot.  I will listen for Sunshine, Seth!

It was funny, no one knew it was the super bowl on Sunday until President Preston said, "It was." He had to also tell us who was playing because nobody knew who.   One of our teachers told us who won because some elders wanted to know.  Sounds like a close game score.  Tell Scott I am so sad to hear about the Seahawks.

So, it was just standard week.   I have not gotten the package, but maybe tomorrow.  There is always tomorrow.  As the song goes, the sun will come out tomorrow.

So, on Sunday we had a testimony meeting.  I actually shared my testimony, and in German of all things!  It was short and sweet.

I prayed before we headed out to the temple this morning, and it was in German in front of everyone.   Anytime I pray I now, I try to pray in German.

Saw the Baptism font in the temple this morning it was very cool to see the different styles.

Going to ASDA again today I'm going to exchange some money into Euros today.

So, the new missionaries came, there is one from Iona going to London South. He flew from Salt Lake.    A sister from Vegas, that went to BYU-I.  She lived at the Willows. There is an Elder from Africa.  I am enjoying getting to know all the new elders and sisters.  I have friends now from all around the world.  Like that primary children's songs goes,
"We are children, holding hands across the world, like an army defending truth and right!"

President Preston (MTC President) talked with our district last night.  He encouraged us to not give up, but to keep pushing forward.

Love you with all my heart!

Elder Bowers
