I know this work is great and wonderful!

On Tuesday we did district meeting with the zone leader Elder dabei. After we went on exchanges, I stayed in Wels and worked with Elder Samuelsen. It was interesting how much I missed Elder Stahle, he is such a brother to me. I love being able to serve with him!

On Wednesday we exchanged back so we traveled to Salzburg in the morning and then got on a train 15 minutes later and came home. We were able to be with the Familie Jaburek, they are wonderful members of the church. I look forward to those times. We were able attend ward council and hear of the testimonies for the leader of the ward. We were able to meet with Bruder Hangl as well this week.

Went to Attang-Puchheim this week to do finding where we found this old castle church which was super pretty. While dooring I happened to have a Croatians book of Mormon.   As we doored we found a man who spoke little German more English but not too much, who was from Croatia. We were able to give him the book and hope to return this week to follow up.

We were able to also visit with Sister Mörtelbauer and Florian. What a meal we had together and then polished the wood ceiling. We were able to meet with Jessica and the family with Brother Lehman there. He is such a wonderful example of Christ. He used to be Bishop here.

On Sunday we were able to help the primary and act out the story of the brass plates, what an adventure. Was weird trying to be Laban as a missionary? After which we went to the Schmidl home for lunch. It was a lovely time together.

Sorry short on time but this week has been full of miracle to many to write with not enough time. I know this work is great and wonderful! Love you all!

I am so thankful every day for the power of the Spirit.

This last week came out of now where and shot past us so fast. On Monday we were able to share a meal with the Carter family, cute American couple who are expecting their first son in a few weeks. He plays basketball here professionally and he actually grew up in Pocatello. Was different seeing and interacting with Americans. On Tuesday we journeyed to the big city of Salzburg for interview and district meeting. Was an adventure but completed the first time conducting District meeting, since we do the whole meeting in German, it was an adventure. It was great to visit with President Kohler as well. We later were able to watch the world wide broadcast for missionaries help a short time ago. Was a lovely meeting for sure. While in Austria when you find an American burger place, you go for lunch we went as a district to Burgerista which was indeed lovely and was good.

Wednesday was the day we were able to help a friend of a member move some items of furniture. It was a pleasant time spent together. Later we were able to again visit with the Jaburek family. They are such wonderful people. That evening we did not have table tennis night due to the building already being set up for the fasching activity this week. So we help blow up balloons and finish decorating. Thursday was interesting as we tried to obtain Elder Stahle a driver license. Once we arrived at the building a man after talking with him advised us to return in an hour when his colleague is back and can do this for us. As instructed we returned and then to find out that we needed to go to another building but they are only open in the morning. So we made plans he next day to visit there and set out for our appointment with Jessica and her Family. She was able to come to church a few weeks ago and has such faith in Jesus Christ. The following day we arrived at the police station in only to find out in Austria you need a Dr. Appointment to get a license. We left in search for a doctor since we needed to submit the paper work this week or he will not be able to have one due to amount of time spent in the country already. As we searched we finally found one who had time for us that day.

That was adventure as we in the office the staff, us and other patients try to act out medical terms to fill out the paper work. Elder Stahle had to then do a variety of test that were quiet entertaining to watch such as stick his arms out in front of him and march his legs and had to go faster and faster. Another was to close his eyes and stretch out his arms and with a finger touches his nose quickly. Or grabbing and having to squeeze the doctor’s finger harder until the doctor said it was fine. We then after that adventure and memory we headed to Schwester Mörtelbauer in which we were able to share a meal again. After we headed to the church for the primary fasching activity, which is in some terms like Halloween of the children get to dress up as whatever they want and have fun, so not asking for candy but games and such. While there I was asked to put a bear suit on which looked like the bear of the jungle book since these years theme was in the jungle. So it was an adventure to do that. I was the official welcome man and hand out the passes to the kids. After some fun activities we headed to our station which was the quick sand game in which someone sat on a blanket and was pulled to over a line by someone else. On Saturday we were able to accompany Bruder Hangel on a beautiful walk. The weather was gorgeous and we were in the nature woods so it reminded me of home a bit and loved every second of it.

I love being outdoors and activities such as hiking a lot more since being on a mission. Was great to walk next to real trees and river and see fields and dirt and such. We were able to meet with our investigator Herr Heckamti. Once we walked into his store where we meet, he was so excited to read in the Book of Mormon. He is amazing and has such a love for the book of Mormon. On Sunday we had lovely church meeting and after which had a linger longer with it being a 5 Sunday. Was fun to be with the ward and enjoy time together. There also was a resent convert from Deutschland where one of the missionaries in the ward is serving as she waits for her visa to go to Temple Square. He was great and had us say something to the missionaries there, which was strange because Sister Gardner who was in Wiener Neustadt is now there, so it was strange to say hello to someone I actually knew. Amazing how this mission is.  I am so thankful every day for the power of the Spirit. Thankful to be able to help other develops more faith. Love you all have a snazzy week!
