Praise the Lord!

Just a little background, on Saturday we received an email from Elder Bowers informing us that he had lost his wallet.  He was nervous about his debit card being use.  We quickly called the bank and canceled his card.  He was so upset about it and figured he would have to transferred to Germany because of the missing visa.  He also had received a ticket of $150.00 because he did not have his proper ID on the train a few months ago, and knew that without his wallet he could receive another. He explained he had taken a large amount of money out of the bank Monday and was very grateful he had not left it in his wallet.  He said he only had about $20.00 in his wallet when he lost it.  After many prayers in our hearts and spoken, we received this email this morning from him!
So many prayers have been answered and a miracle has happened!!!
We found my wallet with my visa and license still there!! No money but hey I'm so grateful that my visa and license and both credit cards were there. Love you thanks for your prayers!

I'm thankful for my redeemer. He lives.

We were able to be with Sister Mörtelbauer and a young man from our ward. It was great. We were able to visit a member who was in the hospital and visit with him a bit. We were able to spent time with
Bruder Hangl and it was very nice to visit with him and feel of his spirit. This week we spent time at ward councils. Was great to see how the ward can work together. On Thursday we were able to meet with Manuela and that was very nice to spend time with her. It was great to see her faith. We also were able to visit Andrea who is a friend of the American couple in our ward. We were able to give her a Book of Mormon. On Friday we travel to the middle of nowhere. We took a train then a bus. We ended talking to the bus driver and he was so nice. After our appointment we walked back to the bus stop and we missed the bus that comes every hour by 2 minutes. So we went the other way and who was our bus driver. (The same one) He was really cool and was able to talk to him more. Once in Grieskirche we decided to eat lunch. We were able to talk to the kebab stand man and he said missionaries can come visit him again. That evening we were
able to spent time with the American couple. We had enchiladas. Sister Carter just had a baby on the 29.Feburary. So his mom is here. They were from Pocatello but now live in Provo. It was so nice to be with Americans and speaking English.

On Saturday we spent time again with sister Mörtelbauer. We then went with the senior couple elder in Linz to visit a new convert who just moved into our ward. It was nice to spent time with him and chatting with him. Church was an adventure was a less active came and wanted a class in English. Elder Bensing was in another class already so I grabbed one of the ward missionary and taught her about Easter. It was an adventure pulling a lesson out of thin air. In sacrament attempting to translate for the Carters, just a little challenge.   I love this time of year. When we can remember Jesus and what he has done for me on an individual level. I'm thankful for my redeemer. He lives.
This last week as I have had the chance to learn and ponder I have thought more about the relationship we can have with our Father in Heaven. It is such a beautiful gift we have we can talk to him. We do not need to pay a collect call or worry about roaming fees. This line of communication is always available. As we have the chance to talk to our Father, do we really take this opportunity to do so. As we begin to take this time and hold it as what is it, a privilege, wonder, miracle or what you can say it is; we will be blessed as we take time to really talk to Him and He will be there for us, always. What a magnificent promise we have and chance we have this life to learn and to grow. To build relationships that will extend into the next life of friendships, family relationships, and relationships to Our Father and His son, our Brother Jesus Christ.

Have a blessed week!!!!

Well this week was an adventure. We were able to spend an evening with Oliver Schmidl and family. That was so nice, they meant a lot to Elder Stahle. Wednesday we were able to spend time with Jaburek family again and have a lesson with Manuela. She knows so much. On Thursday was the big tear jerker day. Through the week it was sad to think Elder Stahle would actually but the day came to fast.
We made it to Salzburg just fine and then most of the missionaries made it in the train with most of the bags but then there was a group stuck in the elevator so a few minutes before the train left everyone had to get off and take a later train. I was not complaining because that meant I was able to spent more time with Elder Chilcutt, Elder Dean, Elder Wright, Elder Stahle and other that I knew that were being transferred. It was so sad seeing the train pull away I feel like I should have been on there since I had served around most of them and knew them pretty well. It was fun to see the missionaries come from Munich that either would stay in this zone or go over to Wien.
It was weird they came and left and I still had to wait for a bit until the train came in from Zurich. It will be something else this transfer working with a German. These last few days have been a little slow due to colds and such, but this coming week we will go to Salzburg so many times. We will go Friday for Mission tour and then Saturday and Sunday for Stake conference. It will be an adventure! Have a blessed week!!!!

Love you lots!

I am so thankful that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers.

This week has come and yet left again.
Tuesday we were able to go on exchanges with the Linz Elders. I was able to work with Elder Ashcroft in Wels. He is so funny.
Wednesday we exchanged back and met with the Jaburek Family again. Such a sweet couple!  That evening we had table tennis and as well as Ward council.
we met with a man named Lorenz we met on the street a few weeks ago. It was a nice time with him but he will be returning to school this week so no longer will be here in Wels. Friday  we met with Schwester Mörtelbauer and Florian. We helped clean out a shed and so we took everything out so the floors could be cleaned then replaced everything back inside. We were able to meet with Manuela this week and that was great to share time with her. Sunday was delightful as we had a class in which Jessica a member was present and an investigator name Jaromir. It was such a great lesson as it was in Englsih and we could talk about Gog and Jesus Christ more.

In the Linz apartment a missionary drew on the wall this masterpiece of Christ.  What a great reminder of his mission and love for us.
Elder Stahle will be leaving Wels this week and I will be working with Elder Bensing who is a native German. So it will be an adventure in the future. I will be forever grateful for this opportunity to serve with Elder Stahle. He has been a true friend and brother to me. I am so thankful that Heavenly Father hears and answers our prayers. I love you, have a great week!
Love you,
Elder Bowers
